Instructions on how to get from your gate to your Connecting Flight at Terminal 3

YYZ Terminal 3 Connections

Canada to US at the YYZ Airport Terminal 3

If you are connecting from a Domestic flight connecting to the US follow the signs with the US Flag for US Departures and connecting baggage claims to the Departures Level

Once you have checked in to your US flight, proceed to the US Customs with baggage for pre clearance.

Canada to International at the Toronto Airport Terminal 3

Connecting from a Domestic flight to a US flight proceed with your boarding pass and check the flight monitors for your airlines gate assignment and proceed to your gate assignment in Terminal 3.

If you don’t have a boarding pass, collect your baggage and proceed to your connecting airlines check in counter on the Departures level to obtain your boarding pass.

International To Canada

International flights connecting to a Domestic flight must first clear Canada Customs. Go to the baggage claim area and check the electronic signs for the carousel that your flight has been assigned. Collect your baggage and proceed to the Canada Customs inspections point.

After leaving Customs look for the blue flashing light on your left then check the monitors for the gate your flight has been assigned. All connecting passengers will proceed up one level to Departures and proceed to your Departures gate.



International to US Toronto Airport Terminal 3

If you are connecting from flights outside of Canada to the US follow the signs to the Canadian Boarder Control check point. After clearing Canadian Boarder Control proceed to the baggage claims area. Check the monitors for the carousel your flight has been assigned.

Proceed to Canada Customs inspection point, after leaving Customs look for the blue flashing light on your left then check the monitors for the gate your flight has been assigned.

Connecting passengers will proceed up one level to departures level of terminal 3. Follow the signs with the US flags for US Departures and US baggage claims directly to your US airline check in counter. Go to the US Customs for clearance to the US.

International and US to International

International and US flight passengers must clear Canadian Boarder Control check point. After clearing Canadian Boarder Control proceed to the baggage claims area. Check the monitors for the carousel your flight has been assigned and pick up baggage.

Proceed to Canada Customs Inspection point, after leaving Customs look for the blue flashing light on your left then check the monitors for the gate your flight has been assigned. Connecting passengers will proceed up one level to departures level of Terminal 3. Clear security then proceed to your connecting flights gate.
